Make your fucking game better. Publishers complain about lack of money from massive budgets when they integrate stupid shit like tablet features, motion features and voice features. Nobody uses these things. If I have to pay more than £40 for a game that has features that I won't use, then I won't buy it.

Oh boy, people still complaining about Battlelog. Is this still a thing? We already had this discussion what - years ago. It's fine. Get over it. Personally, i actually like it.

I kinda like it, too. It's nice to look at other websites while I'm waiting in queues or connecting to a server. But they could just do as Valve does and throw a browser in-game.

...But DICE still refuse to build the server browser into the actual game, when that's all people have been wanting. We'll still have to launch the game via a web browser every time we join a server.
With over a decade of problems with DICE server browsers in the game I was really happy to get one of the best Server browser EVER. That would be the Battlelog.

Do you remember what problems it had?
Slow
Very slow
Failed to do what it should do.
Few filters

When in need of fixing we had to wait for the next BIG PATCH. They took their bloody time with those too.

Do you know what Battlelog have?

Fastest server browser out there. I have not seen a faster server than Battlelog. The 2:nd fastest might be Source Engine server browser for CSS.
Tons of filter. Only thing we miss is Ping but since I limit mine to region and it only really shows the good ping servers this isn't much of an issue for me.
When it's in need of patching they don't need to touch the game. They can patch it right away.
You don't have to login to the game every time you want play it. You don't need to sign in on your account in game every single time you start it up. Origin just auto login you all the way through.

Starting up the game with a good PC doesn't take long either. BF2 takes longer to boot up than BF3 does. This is just the part of joining a game too.
For me I'm on the server at like 20 second mark on first server. If I change server it takes far faster and loading up the map just takes a few seconds.

It took over a YEAR AND A HALF for DICE to slowly cut-down the massive list of errors Battlelog could fling at us (accompanied by game crashes/disconnects), as if to constantly remind us "this is what you get for playing on PC lolololol fuckers".
For me Battlelog was only a bit problematic the first two or so days. But once that was over Battlelog worked just nicely. Since then I really haven't had problems with Battlelog. I could still get into games but it it was a bit of trial and error on the servers.

So that year with patch fixes? Didn't bother me as I could easily access any server I wanted. Game crashes and disconnects are due to the game and server problems. Not Battlelog problems.

As for the new stuff. Well I'm not too eager about those. I just want to get to things faster and that the UI moves quicker. But as long as I get my Battlelog again and can launch the game through a browser without a problem I won't complain.

All i wanted was proper consequences for team killers. Being shot through the cockpit because some tool of a team mate wanted the helicopter over and over again stopped me playing hardcore.

Its a shame, i moved from cod to get away from that sort of douchebaggery. I would only play hardcore on cod, its my prefered way to play.

The seperate mini map will be a nice touch if done properly.
