I don't own the game myself (well I do for the PS3), but you can use this little tool [http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri] to check whether you can meet the system requirements.

To me your system looks rather good, but your GPU might bottleneck a bit or does that GX2 mean you've got 2 9800's in SLI?

I have it and it runs fine on my system specs are

OS:XP 32bit(makes it a ***** to use the shield turrets)
CPU:AMD 3.1GHz dualcore
RAM:4 GIGs DDR2
GPU:NVIDIA 9500 GT 1GB

So yea yours should run fine

I run it on AMD 3.0ghz dual core, 2 gigs of ram, 8600GT 512MB. I've got it on low/medium (trees look a little blotchy at long range, but it doesn't effect the gameplay) and don't have any troubles at all. You should be fine.

I run it on Intel 1.6ghz dual core (Which I should replace), 8800GT 512MB, XP. You'll be fine.

Is that what causes that? When I first started playing I wondered what the moron who designed those turrets was thinking.

You should be totally fine. I can run it on high settings with these specs.

Windows XP 32-bit
Intel Dual Core 3.0 Ghz
3.5 Gigs of RAM
Nvidia 9800 GTX+ (512MB)

I don't see any reason why your PC wouldn't be able to handle this game, or almost any game on the market currently.

Your specs are almost identical to mine so you should have no problem running the game.
Instead of the Nvidia GPU you have, I have a ATI HD 4850.

Because you need DirectX 10 to see out of them for some retarded reason, makes me want to beat a panda every time I try to use one.

BC2 is kind of intensive, but it does run a lot better compared to when it was first released. They did some engine tweaks that fixed some heavy duty lighting engine related FPS drops.

Strange, I would think that someone with those kind of specs would be able to run the game maxed out.

Legit site, has just about every game on there. Easiest way to test if your PC can run something.

EDIT: Ninja'd by the first reply. Didn't even see it!
