Space battleship either named Spiritus Omnia, latin for The Spirits of All, or Adamantinus, latin for Impregnable or Incorruptible.

Why latin? Because it is a 'dead' language that not many people use and love how the words sound.

Definitely the S.S. ESSESS

Also 10 points for someone who gets my reference.
Is it the Angry Beavers?

I know if I had a steamboat I would name it the S.S. SSSSS.

"Thunderchild", 10 points for gryffindor if you get the reference.
'The War of the Worlds' by Herbert George Wells; written in 1897 (give or take). Damn fine book! Damn fine ship!

I too like the name Thunderchild. However my Flagship has always been called the Pheonix

Other ships in my galactic armada would be named...

Thnderchild (as already mentioned)
Tristar
Amalix (My Big Brother's ship. His allowed to tag along)
Archemedes
Sturmvogel
Defiant
Brisbane
Liberator (10 points if ya match this one!)
Andromeda

The Chimera or Fenris

bonus if you know the Chimera referance
Judging by your tasteful avatar good sir, might I guess your reference is to a certain Imperial Guard APC.

Or you could be fooling everyone and taking reference from the mythical beast from the Greek legend'Jason and the Argonauts'.

If it were a sea-faring vessel, I'd name it "Marauder". Fitting for a lightning-strike raider, and it's a name that strikes fear into the heart of your enemy.

Now, a spaceship... well, there's really only one choice: a heavily armed and armoured battle-barge, bearing the name "Pride of Tizca". Why? Because fuck you, Space Wolves, you will pay for destroying Prospero!!!
yet im so very very sure a maurader is a slowlumbering aircraft with an assload of ordinance and assosiated armaments in heavy bolters

Don't care about aircrafts or whatever. The definition of a marauder is that of a hit-and-run raider, a pirate.

both of them crossed my mind but i was thinking of the flagship of admiral thrawn from star wars

bonus: Fenris is the the planet of the space wolves in warhammer 40k and a giant wolf guarding the life tree in norse mythology.
