Alright this game is driving me crazy and I really need to find some people to talk about it with. I am almost fanatically looking forward to this game, I think the only game I've ever been near this hyped about was GTA4. The game's new site is up (battlestations.net), and the screens and pure gameplay vid it has on it are just...amazing. I don't think I've ever seen anything as sexy except for maybe some really good porn. But I digress, I think that anyone can agree that the game looks amazing and I really suggest you check out the site. It also has 2 trailers out which are very well done and beautiful as well.
It's a shame that so few people seem to be interested in this game, as you may know I'm a big fan of ships and naval warfare and such, so this game is perfect for me. Yes it's predecessor Battlestations: Midway came out awhile ago but was somewhat crudely done and needed a lot more polish and content, you need to be pretty devoted to its genre to really enjoy the game.
I've showed my friends both games and some agreed that Midway looked interesting, but they said and I agreed that it wasn't really worth the money for them. Hopefully some will buy Pacific but I can't muster much enthusiasm from them, not nearly enough to match my own.
So someone please tell me they are following this game and excited about it as well, I need some sort of discussion about it before I go crazy. Also, hopefully I can turn some more people onto the game here.
...See how much I just wrote about this game in like 2 minutes? Also, a little sad thing I should add is that I searched Battlestations: Pacific on the Escapist's forums and I only got 5 or 6 results, all of which were written by me.
