EDIT: I don't really need much more answers, I think I've got it. This thread can now die in peace.
But it's been released in Japan. And it was released in OctoberGlefistus said:Maybe they couldn't print enough copies, or it wasn't ready yet. I am happy letting developers take as long as they need, I could care less how long I wait if the end product is all the better for it.HUBILUB said:Christmas is coming up, as we all know, and I'm finding myself in a bit of a pickle. There are no games that I want right now that are coming out this December. I'm not really interested in the Saboteur, and all the mighty Autumn releases are already bought, completed, and thrown away. I have no games to play this December it seems like, other than the empty promise of actually getting Shadow of the Colossus for Christmas, something I doubt will happen. (But I hooooope)
So why can't Bayonetta have a December release? I'm really excited for that game, but it's not coming out until the 8th of January, and then the winter-break will be over. I want it now dammit!
But this is not simply my hunger for violence and mild sexual content speaking. Wouldn't it make sense to aim for a December release? Lots of people are excited for it, wouldn't it boost sales if it could be bought as a Christmas present?
Is there something about economics I don't know or do you agree with me?
So I'm not the only one who wants that for Christmas.HUBILUB said:other than the empty promise of actually getting Shadow of the Colossus for Christmas, something I doubt will happen. (But I hooooope)
Ooooh, translations. Did not think of that... Still, I'd appreciate if they released the games with a little less time-gap between them.Pararaptor said:I'm inclined to agree with Gleifistus: It's not ready yet. Most likely all the translation hasn't been done yet.
True. I didn't think of that. Although it's still unfair that Japan gets it before me. All they did was create the game, we in Europe... OK, maybe they deserved it early, but I'm still a little frustrated.Glefistus said:Well, Aion had to be regionalized for North America, so maybe this does too. Remember that games like Pokemon are often released in Jpan half a year before NA.HUBILUB said:But it's been released in Japan. ...good point...SikOseph said:You think that they produce the discs and packaging in Japan and then ship them? LOLSimalacrum said:Maybe translation or shipping takes time? If not by plane (which, admitedly, considering the size of the package, would be a bit odd) shipping across the globe can take months.
Ha ha ha, you sir, are a man after my own heart with that sentiment.imahobbit4062 said:I dont care how long it takes. I hope to fuck that the stupid J Pop in the demo is not in the retail game.
