A good decision by the BBC. It's a sensitive issue right now, no need to kick those emotionally affected by these recent events and potentially imminent events while they're down. I'd be very confident in saying it'll be included on the DVD version when it's no longer a highly topical issue.

Having just watched the episode, I cannot see initially where the scene would have taken place. If that is the case, then it wasn't very integral to the plot and cutting it was probably the right thing, regardless of the sensitivity of the beheadings.

Seriously? I hope they cut out any death whatsoever, because people die all the time. We wouldn't want anybody to be offended now, would we?
They were demonstrating a bit of sensitivity and sympathy, there's no need to get annoyed at imaginary offended people.
Why doesn't entertainment show more sensitivity and cut all violence or references to violence or random negative events or illnesses that happen to people every day all over the planet? Do people only care about other people when they become national or global news stories?

I know that the 12th is supposed to be dark but... JESUS. I'm actually glad they cut it. Deaths have happened in the show, but they've never been as graphic as putting a beheading in. It just doesn't fit with the tone of the show. It's Doctor Who, not Game of Thrones.

Letting the acts of terrorists influence your life in this way grants them victory in their eyes, no matter how small. At least from what I know of that kind of psyche.
