My husband is not a gamer. But he does accept it. When I ramble or rant, he just smiles and nods. He gets annoyed (not so much since I've quit raiding on a regular schedule) when I try to rearrange our plans around raid times, but that's about it.

Yeah my girlfriend likes that i like games, she even lets me play them sometimes when she comes over and she'll just watch and ask about the game, I'm even giving her my xbox 360 when my new one comes through so she can get into it 
My boyfriend games like he breathes, so naturally he accepts that I game as well. We both play tabletop RPGs as well as console games (and he plays PC, but I don't have a comp that will handle the games we want to play).
When I move out there, we plan to spend some time playing co-op on our favorite old games. And that is the best way to spend an evening ever.

My girlfriend is very accepting of it, in fact, she is a bit of a gamer herself. Although, I often have to explain things to her, but at least she is willing to listen and learn.
She does, however, give me crap for being a "pkmn nerd". I don't mind though, because it's all in jest - that, and i am.

My Fiance is a gamer. none of the MMOs, but she LOVED Fallout 3, and put money down on New Vegas 2 weeks ago. She is working on Oblivion again now, and has Dragon Age Origins.
Define gamer? When one thinks of a girl being mad that her boyfriend is a "gamer" it's when he spends a lot of time playing games and it's basically his main hobby. My main activities are going to class, doing work, eating, boning, drinking, rugby, and generally dicking around. Games fall into the dicking around category. On the other hand, a horde of undesirables would spend their every spare moment in my floor's common room. They would play PC games, be loud, sing Bohemian Rhapsody (a tangent of being loud), and all around piss me the fuck off because it was right outside my room. If I did this my girlfriend would certainly not approve.
At first, no, but then I think she overreacted and thought I'd be spending all of my time gaming when she found out.

OT: Yeah, in fact, we occasionally play Mortal Kombat together. I kick her ass, but it's fun, and she seems to enjoy it (wow, I could either be talking about MK or sex. Either way, I still have a great girlfriend).
