The wax plan is pretty solid for a shorter beard then elastic bands if you want it longer (though with that style I probably wouldn't recommend it). Also, don't listen to the people going "don't do that it's silly/stereotypical metal" because lets face it, everything that can be done with hair/beards has pretty much been done by now so there's always some group of people you're going to look like so my suggestion is give it a try and if you like it bollocks to everybody else and if you don't the trimmers are always easy to bring out of the cupboard.

I hope that after you do that you try for something like this.

but to be serious, your idea sounds like it could look good, but then again I have no idea what kind of face you have.

Crickes, my hair is about the same colour as my skin. Blonde on light. I've got a scrawny beard that unfortunately blends in so well with my skin colour.

Invisi-beard.

I'm sort of disappoint. I'm 17 but I look 15.

I've had pretty much every possible combination of beard (but not the neckbeard, that's just stupid) but I've never tried moulding/waxing it in any kind of shape (though I did braid my goatee once).

Up to recently I generally went for either a trimmed (3-4mm) full beard or a moustache-goatee combination grown out a bit further 3-4cm). Now the beard/moustache area around my mouth has grown grey/blonde/invisible and if I don't shave I look like Wolverine...

I think it would be better if you didn't look just like every other metal fan douche and grew a proper beard.
Sorry, but this. I can't stand it when people do that, it's almost as bad as bull rings and lip piercings. Just makes you look like you wanted to be in a metal band, but can't play an instrument, and I've never seen it pulled off well.
Mohawks I don't mind though, depending on what they're like. Liberty spikes look kind of stupid though.
But if you really like it, then I won't judge you, just understand that some people will look at you and think worse of you because of it. As for how to get it to look like that, I can't really help. Although I would assume it would work in a similar way to Mohawk's.
