Martina Topley birds part in All Alone by the Gorillaz. it gets me everytime when the guitar cuts out and she just starts singing for about 35 seconds I love it. listen from 1:56 on because Roots Manuva screws up the rest of the song well in the live version anyway.

of course Hong Kong by the Gorillaz too a very original and beautiful from beginning to end and also makes good use of the Gu Zheng instrument.

WTF everthing by the Gorillaz is beautiful...

I see your etude and raise you a sonata!
Forget your sonata, have another etude!
You have excellent musical tastes....

Darn it.

Anyway, I'll throw another auditory orgasm out there to show off Beethoven's non-overrated glory:

Yann Tiersen is a modern day genius. Writes mostly neoclassical stuff. I think he did the soundtrack to Requiem for a dream.

I listen to a lot of Post-Rock. Most of the stuff in the genre is beautiful.

Alcest is another great french band. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm7S6eGDPvY&translated=1

Thank you, and Beethoven is good. But not as good as Chopin.
It's waltz time!

Okay, now for a violin concerto! Huzzah!

Speaking of awesome piano music, I have this from the Moonlight Sonata:

Gotta love awesome music.

(And I am having quite a bit of fun with this musical duel, and you've made me remember how absolutely fantastic Chopin is.)

Prelude attack!
But I must admit, I love me some Moonlight Sonata.

(Me too, and Beethoven is pretty sweet as well.)

Anything by Danny Elfman (Beetlejuice, Nightmare before Christmas, I think Coraline) is good in my book.

Keeping the blade by Coheed and Cambria. For an emo/metal band, it's suprising.

Hey, I love Vivaldi's work!

To make up for this oversight of not including him in one of my posts, I shall put forth this:

Good old A-not-440

EDIT: I'm sorry for posting so much cello music. I shall try to post more variety in the future =P

Ooh, thank God, usually people look at me weird when I say I love his music (but mostly because i live in Texas, where nobody likes classical(or at least in my town))

Pretty much all classical music, and some video game soundtracks.

Ghost opera-Kamelot
Come Clarity-In Flames
I'm Still here-John Rzeznik (That one song from that Disney movie, Treasure Planet I think, screw you guys, it's a good song.)
Dear God-Avenged Sevenfold
Where is the love-Black Eyes Peas
Let The Drummer Kick- Citizen Cope
Yellow-Coldplay
Cornered-Dark Tranquility
Rainbow in the Dark-Dio
Heaven can wait-Gamma Ray
Rainmaker-Iron Maiden
Hurt-Johnny Cash version
Home Sweet home-Motley Crue
Believe in Nothing-Nevermore
Better Man-Pearl Jam
Send me on my way-Rusted Root

Just some high spirited songs that might be considered beautiful or might not.

The three are overrated.
Chopin ALL THE WAY.

Also, Ben Fold's Emaline [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RohzDCD-7wg]
To be honest, the only real thing of Chopin's I've ever really liked is Piano Sonata No.2 Marche Funebre [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hgw_RD_1_5I&feature=related]
