I've just heard about FTL. Anyone got it/can recommend it? If it's anything like freelancer I'll 1)squee and 2) fire money at my screen.

Check out NorthernLion on Youtube. He`s done a preview video and has several episodes of a Let`s Play posted as well. Those who seem to like the game, like it a lot.. not at all my cup of tea though.ResonanceSD said:
I bought it two days ago and I have not played anything else since. Super fun gameplay quite a challenging game. I get super depressed when one of my crew members dies, but then can really happy when a pull through a tough fight with half the ship on fire and leaking oxygen. Then I question my morality when I do the same to an enemy ship but instead of finishing of kindly, power down my weapons and wait for the crew to run out of air.
Still haven't beaten the final boss yet. I used a boarding party to disable all it's weapons but ran out of missiles so I could not break the shields. All we could do was stare at each other.
