I was making the guest room bed in my house and I decided to tuck the sheets in because it just made the room look nicer and I figured that if someone prefers to have their bed sheets tucked in then they could be more comfortable. Whereas if someone prefers them not to be tucked in, it doesn't take too much to pull them out.
I then began to ponder, who actually enjoys having their bed sheets tucked in? I'm 6 feet tall, so my feet are usually always near the end of the bed. A tucked bed sheet pulls my feet down and causes discomfort. Therefor whenever I get in bed and the sheets are tucked in, I immediately have to untuck them. Some of my friends don't even bother to make their bed, or have a fitted sheet that hugs the mattress, but none of them prefer to have their sheets tucked in.
Edit:
To clarify any confusion
