Like most modern art the meaning is arbitrary at best and requires a small essay to explain to everyone but the artist and perhaps the artist's mom. However this piece is redeemed by being delicious!

Heh, I interpreted it as the opposite: it's to illustrate the pleasure in your dark side. Like seeking joy from the security of forced isolation, or a deep excitement stemmed from the utter descent into a gleeful insanity. It's as a total disregard for what is normal and inevitably dark, favouring the ludicrousness of a better, unreal reality.

I'm not sure I'd find this piece threatening or representative of the dark side of pleasure. I'd probably just find it delicious.

...dammit! It looks so tasty! But...so many sweaty and pretentious yuppies! I hadn't thought of that until now.

Well, the artist will just have to make another out of chocolate. Maybe I can eat that one before anyone else gets to it.
