Al Queda tried to convert me to Islam, but I held out my Old Testament and me and my bro Elijah called down muther fucking bears from on high to maul the shit out of them. Sadly, they then snuck into an orphanage.

Pity that, but no conversion was tolerated.

Yep same here, used to listen to Linkin Park and what not, but then I decided to give some classics a chance and I was instantly hooked. It was so much better than I ever thought, I was overwhelmed when I first heard songs like Run to the Hills, Paint it Black and Dream On.

I used to hate turn-based battle systems. Then a friend made me play Final Fantasy VII. No going back now.

Also, I used to hate anime. Using the American show Avatar: The Last Airbender as a catalyst (still my favorite show ever), I got into Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, Clannad... no going back. Ever.

I got converted to maga and anime when I was about 17 by an old friend. I had always dismissed it as 'kiddie stuff' until he showed me Hellsing and Elfen Lied.

Ironically, I know also have a selection of purely kiddie stuff. This love of managa/anime also brought me back to comic books in general, and started me buying them again, which is probably a bad thing seeings as I have no money and yet continue to buy them.

I never used to like RTS games until a mate of mine (sadly, only a few years ago) forced Starcraft on me.

Haha, I used to love Starcraft until a mate of mine pointed out that all our friendly skirmishes felt like two-hour heart attacks.

I was converted to rocka-/psycho-billy music. I like it. And I used to hate metal when I was around 12. Now I'm a full-fledged metal head. 80% of my music is metal. I was also converted to capitalism and global warming skepticism by my brothers.

If we're talking real conversing, as in religion, I went from agnostic to deist over time. I tried to find the belief that fitted me, and then I dug deep and just said "fuck it, I believe whatever I want".

but versus mode is so fun. and i got it for $15.

I used to love Halo i played it everday but now I really hate halo for some reason and i used to hate tachno music but then i loved it then i hate it again till now :l

I used to solely listen to linkin park. Now I listen to nightwish. My musical taste has progressed greatly.

Yea, it started with Nightwish for me too. Now I've gotten bands like Krypteria and Epica under my belt as well.
