Being in a video game

If you could be in any video game (even more than one) which would it be? And what character would you like to be? The main character? Their sidekick? Some random asshole?

I'd like The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or Wind Waker, and be someone Link has to drag around with him; almost like Navi, but less annoying, and I can't fly.

Or Super Mario Galaxy, because the observatory seemed like a fun place to fuck around on.

Even a Professor Layton game, so I could try and help solve the mysteries of the place we've decided to mess around in. And I could test my knowledge better, because there wouldn't be a walkthrough for the puzzles.

Or Final Fantasy XIII. Despite the risks, It would be fun to be a L'cie and use magic for my own evil intentions. Muahaha.

I wouldn't be in any videogame, because the fatality rates are way too high in most of them. Seems like a dangerous occupation. Even as a Sim you've got to worry about your owner taking away the toilets just for kicks.

That moogle from FF9 whom you bumped into every now and again - I think his name was Slitzkin (or something like that). One of the best recurring non - plot related character in my opinion. And most badass name too.

Tamriel Rebuilt is the closest I'll ever get, sadly. I'm trying to get hired by them at the moment, but the questing department is slooooooow.

I'd be in one of the LEGO games. I'd be functionally immortal, could customise myself to look like anything and engineering is as simple as building a LEGO set. Fine manipulation would be difficult though, considering the lack of fingers...

I would love to be the guy who sits next to Joker from Mass Effect in the cockpit of the Normandy all day. Just think about it. Being a determined, sometimes amusing always awesome space adventurer would be dandy, but I reckon it's the guy who gets to listen to Joker complain and be saercastic all the time who's really lucky. I mean, we'd have so much to talk about. We have so much in common! We're both sarcastic, world-weary, light-hearted guys who give way too muh lip for our own good. Plus neither of us ever get out of their chair, although he doesn't because of his brittle-bone Vrolik's syndrome, but I'm just bone-idle
