Somebody's stolen an old photo of me off my LibraryThing account, and some forum posts I did, and some old DeviantArt jpgs I did when I was younger, to do a post which is for the sole purpose of humiliating me. And I don't know what I can do about it. All the information is taken from reall post but taken severely out of context to deliberately get me angry.

Unless you guys help with an army of comments. Either help me take this post down under libel laws, or you can teach this troll a lesson. The purpose of the post is to hurt and humilate, and I don't know who else to turn to at this hour. Internet justice must be served.

What you can do about it:
Ignore it to death.

Works every time.
What he said.
Just forget about it,
He/she/it is just trying to get on your nerves.

I don't get it, what the hell are we supposed to do about it?

The power is all in your hands, just ignore him and he'll go away.

edit: I just read the post, and if you actually said all of that stuff then there really is nothing you can do about it.

If an army of commentors show up in your defense, it will only get worse. He'll only get more hostile and stupid. You'll regret trying to fight it.

Take a deep breath, and repeat after me -

"It's the Intertubes. I am not my post count. There is no spoon. My life does not depend on my lingering Internet presence. I shall put down my avatar for awhile and go do something else (like play a game with people I like, watch TV/movies and/or go outside). Trolls only last as long as the attention lasts. If I do not feed the Troll and prove I have a real life, the troll will not matter. It's just the Intertubes."

Now, go do something else and let the troll find someone else to troll. If you were a likable person on that other board, people will still like you later.

The best thing you could do is put on your best shit eating grin and laugh along with them if you want to appear to be a cool guy who is too big to worry about small people. Pretty much anything else makes them look like internet heroes.

Unfortunately, it seems that due to the disclaimer you can't take the post down. So yeah, just ignore him. He's a dick and you're better than him.
Everyone is on your side, so DO NOT feel the urge to gather info and pics of him too, we do not need any more trolls in the world -_-

This should be a lesson to everyone, don't post personal information (including pictures) on the Internet. Don't share this information with other people you don't know (or at least know where they live).

if they took pictures you own, send them a DMCA takedown notice, most providers will take them down pretty easily and quickly

that and it would be funny, since he's probly using your images without your permission AND it does NOT fall under the fair use policies of copyright.

he's on dreamhost and here's their email address for abuse

[email protected]

inform them that it appears there is a lot of stuff on the site that appears to be stolen and used without permission

i could have found out more but the guy running it is using domainsbyproxy to hide his identity, tho you could try emailing them about this too
