Best All Round Weapon for a Zombie Apocalypse

Use to think metal bat myself but its kind of a one trick pony compared to the Crowbar

AK-47 with bayonet. Tough as nails, 7.62X39 is fairly common, and a bayonet for when the magazine's empty.

So my second choice would be a greatsword. Those things were made for taking on large masses of angry civilians or condensed pike formations. So theyre pretty ideal for zombies and they dont need batteries

I'd have to say a shotgun as well. With the variety of ammunition available, shells, and buck mostly, That would do some work.

Unless you want to destroy the gun you need a different barrel for different types of ammunition. That and you would need to manually change the choke if you went from small ball bearings to larger ones, and that takes a few minutes.

OT: Anything? Solar powered hover ship that is large enough to house a good number of people and fields to feed them. Why worry about the Zs if you are out of their reach?

Realistically, Vietnam fox shovel. The real world Lobo only with a shorter handle and folds up for portability.

Guns will run out of ammo and blades can become dull or get stuck when attempting evisceration.

Go with something heavy and blunt, like a bigass hammer, or a mace. Or a heavily armed vehicle.

Essentially a big, blunt object, they don't wear out and crippled zombies/zombies with their teeth caved in aren't much of a threat.
