Best and Worst Game You've Played In 2009

I would say the worst I played this year is MagnaCarta 2

The best I've played this year is a 3 way tie between Assassin's Creed 2 and Ratchet and Clank : A Crack In Time and Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves. But out of those Assassin's Creed 2 is the best just for the sake of having only one game chosen.

What are your choices for 2009's best and worst you've played.

[EDIT] To clarify This is for games released in 2009 not played in 2009 and demos don't count. I assumed it was clear what I meant but I suppose I was pretty vague.

The best I've played are the Tales of Monkey Island games. More from a nostalgic point of view than anything else, though.

It would be better to ask this question after Christmas, but for best I can't decide between Resident Evil 5 and Modern Warfare2, and for worst it's Onchanbara Bikini Sammurai Squad (yes that came out this year)

Best game so far - Batman Arkam asylum, but I'm getting Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2 and Dragon Age Origins for Christmas, so it will change
Worst game - I've only bought two games that came out in 2009 this year, the rest are older. The other game I bought was ODST, but I loved that too.
I don't buy bad games.

It's just that some people like me can't afford ALL of the good games (I'm still missing Assassin's Creed 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wii for starters), so they're hoping Santa Clause would bring them some~!

Understandable. I can't afford a lot of games myself and spend months researching games before buying them... Except MagnaCarta 2. I bought that because of the PS2 version thinking 'Hey may it will be better or a good as the PS2 counterpart'. But it's not.

Well, the year isn't over yet, and I have Borderlands and MW2 on order, and I'll get AC2 at some point as well, but so far...

Worst: Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

The only other games I've played so far this year were Wolfenstein and Uncharted 2.

WET was the worst game I bought this year so that would hav to be my worst game played but there has been some stellar titles this year.

My favourite game this year has been Batman Arkham Asylum just pipping Uncharted 2 to the mark by having a main character I give a shit about.

The best one (so far) is either Batman AA or Uncharted 2. The worst is Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (not sure if it came out this year, but that is when I played it)

Best: Borderlands

I typically don't play a whole lot of different games over the course of a year, and Borderlands can still be topped... but I doubt it.

Well, because I haven't much money to buy anything other than Gamecube, Playstation 2 or old PC Titles I could only play a hand full of games, released this year.

Best: Street Fighter IV, Prototype (Even though the plot gives me headaches.)

Worst: Grand Theft Auto IV: Ballad of Gay Tony.

Demon's Souls and Flower are my favorite games so far this year.

The worst would have to be Need for Speed: Shift. I only played the demo, but it was a disaster.

Best game I've played this year Left 4 Dead 2. Loved the game, but haven't really played any other games this year so...

Edit: Oh, I remember, I rented Resident Evil 4 on the Wii. Couldn't even get the controls down.

There's a few, although the only one I'm interested in is The Saboteur.

OT: I think I've only actually bought AC2 and Arkham this year. Jesus, what a farce.

AC2 for me though, just amazing. Arkham was also fantastic.
