Best and worst NPCs

so what your Favorite NPC could be an Allie who really helps you out in the game or villain you just loved to fight or just a character you really liked or anything in-between

and
what?s the worst one you ever seen, any NPCs that ruined a gaming experience for you perhaps just annoying character or just constantly annoyed you during gameplay

I can't remember the best, but the worst is (can't remember her name) the big, muscular woman with that huge hammer in Fable II.

I think her name was Hammer, or something.

Worst NPC for aiding you in my opinon - either Marines in any Halo game, or Captain MacMillan in Call of Duty 4, in the Chernobyl missions. He's a Captain, you're a Leftenant. So obviously, YOU take every shot. And then for the final shot, your actual mission target, the one this entire mission has been for: you take the motherfucking shot.

I bet if MacMillan had taken the shot, Zakhaev would've died out right. Making every other part of the campaign a shitload more boring.

Best- The rebels in Half-Life 2.

MacMillan may be a better strategist and commander whereas Price may be a better sniper.

OT: I'd say Best are the WoW NPC's wo are just there as private jokes, like Hin Denburg or Nat Pagle.

Worst are the allies in Oblivion you get, they run straight into my arrows then bugger off to look at a daisy when the enemy wants to tear mea new one.

Worst NPC?Your partners in Secret of Mana.They always get stuck on some bush and get killed by monsters!

The worst would be any npc for an escort quest in WoW(Not counting the caverns of time escorts).

And my best would be Jericho in fallout if u get him on ur side.

I loved the American soldiers in Medal of Honor: Frontlines, so useless yet so brave. You could sit on Omaha beach all day just to watch wave after wave blindly run into bullets... those were simpler times.

Worst- Dogmeat from Fallout, for always running into my line of fire and dying horribly. Moron.

Or the ones that kept running right into my sword strokes when I was slicing up Scamps while trying to become the Hero of Kvatch, and then enough run into my sword for Martin to get pissed and chase me with his.

I was sooo pissed off. IT WAS THEIR OWN GODDAMN FAULT!!!

Best NPC has to be Johnny Gat from Saints Row 2. As for the worst... Probably Roamin from GTA IV although that is probably just an inherent problem with the whole friends system in that game but he just rang me more than the others so you know...

They're stupid, no wonder the town turned into the living dead. Make you think that if they were stupid, the actual zombies were probably a lot dumber. They probably tried to kiss the zombies.
