What's the best April fools joke you have ever seen/heard? Mine would have to be the fake Legend of Zelda trailer IGN made a few years back. It actually kind of looked real to begin with!

Umm this may seem kind of dark but today we tied up with a lasso and guided him through a street pretending he was escaping while screaming "get back in my basement; I need those Nikes!" then we ended up tying him to a tree and watched a bunch of our stoner friends kick him in the balls. Then he whipped out his lighter, burned through the rope and ran off. All in all, a good april fools.

Krispy kreme were looking for a master donut hole puncher to work for them this year. It's a hard job but rewarding.

It wasn't done on April fools, but this is the best prank I'm ever heard of.

An NCO friend of mine was stationed in Germany a decade ago. And, like any good soldier, he was drunk off his ass with his friends.

When they got back to their barracks, they found a particularly mean spirited Sergeant on duty. They decided to do a little prank.

Now, everyone has used plastic wrap. And you've all heard of the fun you can have with it. What you have not heard of, most likely, is what you can do with industrial, 4 foot wide plastic wrap.

They took 5 rolls and began to plastic wrap THE BUILDING. They payed particular attention to the windows and doors. The made sure that there was not a single wrinkle in the wrap.

Once they finished, the proceeded to mock and ridicule the Sergeant inside, yelling and screaming, and mooning. Angered by the soldiers, the Sergeant ran towards the open main door.

And ended up flat on his ass.

The plastic wrap was so strong, and so invisible, that the sergeant hit it at a full sprint and felt like he had run into a brick wall. After probing the door, he attempted to exit through a window, only to repeat the process.

Eventually he freed himself with a box cutter.

Blizzard always seems to make hilarious April Fools Day pranks. The stuff they put up today is:
1) A video that said they're making Starcraft 2 for consoles using the motion controls like move/kinect (not sure how to post videos here, so I'll link it here http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/games/console/ ).
2) A new lvl 85 dungeon in WoW that is in such darkness, you can barely see your own character, and basically nothing more than a foot awayand that you have to rely on your sense of hearing in order to effectively defeat bosses. Also included were insane achievements to go along with the dungeon.
3) An on screen (for lack of better words) tip offerer crab in WoW that can't be disabled, reminiscent of those paperclip-with-eyeballs things that annoyed people on old computers.
4) Fake patch notes for both WoW and Starcraft 2 (patch numbers 1.4.11 and 1.11.4 respectively). Some of the funnier things I found on those were these: "Discipline priests, we heard you like shields that heal, so we put a shield in your shield, so you can heal while you heal," "The Ghost can no longer be produced. Once a Ghost's progress bar is partially complete it will be postponed indefinitely," and "Fixed a bug where Terran players were able to lose a game."
What's even funnier, is that even though Blizz does this kind of thing every year, a fair bit of people actually believe these things will be implemented.

Whilst not the best, I got fooled on WoW just now, thought it was kinda well done though.

Bottom left. It's better than a YouTube link to the song.
