Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifers Call
This is off-topic, but is Lucifer's Call the same thing as Nocturne in the U.S.? I heard someone describe the plot once and it sounded like the same game, but I am a huge SMT fan and if this is a game that was localized that I somehow missed... sign me up!
As far as I understand it...

Nocturne was rereleased with added content, most notably the entire Amala Labyrinth and the True Demon ending. This was called Nocturne: Maniacs Edition. Not sure why it was simply released as Lucifers Call here.

The game never crashed for me.

Hellishly hard though, never had an RPG beat me down like that. Love it though, real sense of FUCK YEAH, FUCK YOU GAME, FUCK YOU, when i beat it.

I've gotten a lot of good games from bargain bins. If there is any franchise notorious for getting your money's worth out of a bargain bin it is the Dynasty Warriors series. Get the game for 5-10$ for some mediocre button mashing action!

Oh, you wouldn't believe what I've found. See, I know this really great thrift store, right. They have massive sales all the time ($10 gets you a huge black bag full of whatever clothes you can stuff in it, I've gotten designer jeans for a few cents. Hell, I once found a brand-new vacuum-sealed pair of Calvin Klein's for $2!), but I digress, I'll continue. (This was a few years ago, maybe two...Don't really remember.)

As it seems, some person donated a whole lot of older games. Mostly for the PS1, PS2 and PC. I walked into that thrift store with $40, and I left with...Well, lots. Around 30 games, and only one didn't work. Things like God of War 1 & 2, Legend of Dragoon, Chrono Cross, lots of others. I think about 20 games were for the PS2, a few for the PS1 and a few for the PC.

But seriously, that place is amazing. I wish I still lived in that town...

Scored a copy of Just Cause 2 last year for nz$20. Immediately lost 3 days to it. So. Much. Fun. Still crank it from time to time for laughs.

Okami for 9.95
Metal Gear Solid for 12.95
Viva Pinata 9.95
Harvest Moon 9.95

I loved all of thsoe games. Can't really say I've wanted for a 'bargin' game to show up. I usually buy new.

Probably the oldest game I can remember having would be Legend of Dragoon for PS1 way back in the day. Got it for maybe five bucks and I played it for years to come. Also got a copy of Monsterseed which by no ways is it perfect, but its provided many years of good times for me and my brothers.

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger for the PS2. I spent 7 hours straight on that beautiful piece of work once. I don't know how it would stack up now (I had when I was around 11 or 12) but I would kill to play it again.

It was about this Tasmanian Tiger, Australian accent and all, fighting to save the other tigers from an evil Cassowary called boss Cass. The gimmick was, your weapons were different types of boomerangs. Everything from splitting to ice and fire. Heavy on the platforming (Using ice boomerangs to create them on a few levels :D). Can't really remember much else besides the love interest (named SHELIA no less) and a buddy character.

It was awesome.

I got into the Fallout series by finding a copy of the original Fallout in a bargain bin. So not only was the game itself a good one, it put me onto a really good series.
