I got a D&D boardgame from my sister.

But nobody wants to play it with me...

Do wargames count? -Points to Warhammer 40k-

Or RPG? -Points to Dark Heresy-

And I think I've just confirmed I'm the biggest fanboy on the site.

But IDK, I haven't PLAYED any before (Do you know how many nerds there are in London?...I'm the only one! -Flail-) but I do tend to go over rules, but I've never looked at the D&D rules, so I'll have to go over that before I can comment.

I really like to play Life, Yahtzee or Clue. xD Those would be my favourite boardgames, although not sure if Yahtzee is included in that. <.< But oh well. =P It's a favourite of mine. Lol.

Puerto Rico, Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, Galaxy Trucker, Starcraft: The Board Game, Twilight Imperium, and Axis and Allies are all great. I have yet to try Galactic Emperor, but it looks pretty good, I'd buy it if I could find it anywhere (if you've played Puerto Rico at all, it's basically that, but in space, and there's some combat.)

Oh, and I loathe Monopoly and Risk. Monopoly is just "Roll the dice oops you're broke" and Risk is like "okay turtle up in a group of continents, block off all the choke points, and wait for six gazillion turns until your army is marginally better than everyone else's."

Pictionary. For couples

Monopoly and Risk are fun. As is "Generals", introduced to me by a filipino friend.

Actual boardgames? Risk
Any Non-videogame where you sit down with friends at a table and play? Tie between shadowrun and traveler.

Puerto Rico, Carcassonne, Riposte, Solar Trader. Just a few off the top of my head. Solar Trader takes an absolute age to complete and I don't think I've actually ever seen the end of a game of it.

I used to enjoy playing Space Hulk when I was a kid. Does that count?

When I was a kid I made up special rules for playing army men. I had a big grid map that I would play by myself on cuz all my friends thought I was retarded for making army men too complicated.

Does that count?

The Battlestar Galactica boardgame is AWESOME. By far my favorite game that I have played, but I've seen other I want to play that look good too.

The World of Warcraft boardgame is pretty good, but it goes too long between turns and the off faction gets a bit board.

I really want to try Twilight Imperium at some point.
