What is the best Book genre out there?
You don't have to stick to the norms... fiction, nonfiction, fantasy, sci-fi etc.
Feel free to be more specific, i.e. steampunk, cyberpunk (you know what's on my mind now...)

I'm a big fan of high fantasy. Basically, I could read Tolkien all day.

Although I also like coming-of-age type stories, such as Submarine by Joe Dunthorn, or The Book Thief by Markus Zusack.
I'm currently reading Leviathan by Scott Westerfield - it's a steampunk themed alternate WW1, with the Allied Darwinists (who fight with genetically altered animals) pitted against the Axis mecha armies. So far, so good.

Whatever "Twelve" and "Thirteen years later" were. Possible vampiric? history? Russian vampire action/horror?

Forgotten Realms fantasy. About as narrowed down as I can get without just naming an author.
