Best cheap game youve ever bought?

I know this has probably been done before...I did use the search bar, but found nothing as narrow as what im about to ask.

Whats the best game you have ever bought for under ?10 or Eq in currency.
You can base it on whatever you want, longevity, story, graphics, just justify your choice.
Include deadly offers you got on Steam if you want, but try be a big better than that, weve all got great offers there.

Mine would have to be Vagrant Story. I got it on release day for £5 coz the guy in the shop didnt know what it was, and it wasnt selling, i dont know why, i still pay it, and its in my top 5 all time greats, squares 2nd best work behind FFVI. but anyway, whats yours?

I got Planescape Torment for $9.95 a couple years back, just slightly before the game became impossible to ever find again.

EDIT: It was bundled with some awful PoS title so basically it was $4.97, but $10 is probably the right threshold for titles in the US, exchange rates aside.

I picked up Crimson Skies: The High Road to Revenge for $2.99, it was definately money well spent considering how much I enjoyed the title. Crimson Skies is pretty much wholely awesome sauce.

Battle Hunter for the PSX. It was one of those games that are packaged together with another game so the stores can get rid of old inventory but it was one of the best games I played for the PSX. It was the best post apocolyptic strategy dungeon crawler with rpg bits fun I got for five bucks even if it did come with some other lame game I ended up tossing out my window.
