Isn't a squashed frog a shot? with Midori (green alcohol), advocat (the rock) and Grenadine (red alcohol).

Whenever i have them i taste nothing but Advocat

Yeap, that's the one, except mine had Baylies as the rock.

I always thought the green is suppose to be creme de menth?

Could be. I'm not sure on names of most alcohol.

My missus actually had a "Purple Rain" last night now I think about it.

1 shot Vodka
1 shot Blue caraco
1 shot Grenadine
with ice and lemonade.

It tasted very purple.

But if I were you I would just stick the classics. Slightly boring, but at least you're not likely to get something digusting.

I concur. Can't go wrong when Kahlua is involved. One of my favorite recipes:

2 oz Stoli® Vanil vodka
1 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
1/2 - 1 oz light cream (I use milk)

I'm also partial to Long Island Iced Teas and margaritas (but only on the rocks -- none of that blended crap).
