Fry and Laurie.
Classic Funnymen those two...

At least I always enjoyed both of them in Black Adder and Jeeves and Wooster...

Also they don't completely count but... the Python Writing Duo's at their best...
John Cleese and Graham Chapman (The Hells Grannies)
Eric Idle and Terry Jones (Every Sperm is Sacred)
Hahaha, yes!

May and Clarkson.

Yeah, they're not really comedy but they really have a thing go between them.

...you know how the Street fighter movies were crap? Maybe if they did one with Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller...I know it's crazy, but it can't be any worse, right? Just think about it.
Ben Stiller as Ryu and Owen Wilson as Ken, it might not actually be half-bad.

They'd have to beef up a bit though.

I've yet to see anyone top Laurel and Hardy!

Here's a moment from The Music Box. They just spent most of the film trying to deliver a player piano to a wealthy woman's house at the top of a long fight of stairs on a hill. They have just broke into the house to deliver the piano because no one is home.

(also, can someone PM me with how to code Youtube vids for the boards?)

Really? Because I always just assumed that like EVERYONE else topped Laurel and Hardy. How original, and freakishly skinny person paired with an obscenely obese person...oh, and the fat guy is the dumb guy.

Sorry, just not comic genius in my eyes.

....I've been starting a lot of shit on these forums lately. How have I not at least been put on probation?

Well they were out a long time ago. Usually the first of something is considered the best for no other reason than it did it first.

Well it's your loss to write them off so quickly. If only someone could cool them up, and bring their comedy to the youth of today. San could be a skateboarding x-treme slacker, and Ollie could be his pot smoking clumsy friend. Together they could surf the internet.

Oh wait,

BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE AWFUL!!!

This is a pretty good list. I going to also back Abbott and Costello, because of this.

And you totally forgot Allen & Rossi.

haha, thats so funny. Because I don't appreciate Laurel and Hardy, I must only like stoner flicks and extreme sports...or sorry X-TREME sports. I must not appreciate any classic comedic humor such as the Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin and Abbot & Costello. Nope. Because I don't like one groups act from back in the day, I must write off all old humor. You are clearly so dead on about me. Anything else you'd care to guess about me from these vague statements I've made thus far (and don't say "asshole" or any derivative of "mean", because I've been made fully aware).

And to be fair, Jay and Silent Bob pull of the fat guy skinny guy humour, Doesn't mean they're geniuses.
So i'm in agreement there.

Colin and Ryan are definitely second.

It's funny, because when I look at your post, you're already on probation. It's kind of ironic in a way.
