Ok i am building a laptop from scratch and i need help figuring out what to put in it. I am going to be using it everyday for Computer programming and websigns. I will also be downloading massive amounts of files at the same time. I will be creating videos and editing pics, plus be using it to run and store my music and school things. So i need help figuring out what it is going to take to run all this money really isnt a issue but i need everything inculding the case.

Anything in the higher price range, over $800 or 600 (I'm not sure for Americans as I am Australian) is generally good. Get a laptop that has a core 2 duo. At least 2.2ghz or more. 1-2 gig of ddr2 ram. And a good graphics card and it should last you for quite a while and be very helpful.

Ok get an any compy and put in a QUAD CORE DUAL PROSSESSOR and NVDIA 8800 GTX ULTIMATE GRAPHICS CARD. 2 TB of memory. this is of course only if you have more then 4000 US$
