Gears of War practically invented the whole "rap song at the end of the game" that games like CoD4 tried to emulate.

EDIT: The embed wasn't working so: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPk1LtESE-U

Portal 1 and 2. Both were brilliant in my opinion. Of course, there are other games with endings i loved, but nothing else comes up to my mind right now.

The end credits to Spirited Away and Tangled are among my favourites, but that's mainly because I love the songs.

Oh, and the end credits to Tropic Thunder. It's probably the best part of the entire movie.
agreed. i had gone the whole movie, recognizing the prickish movie exec. but couldn't remember who it was. then it turns out to be TOM CRUISE! AWESOME.

however, my favorite ending is from an irish film called the van. the main characters are unemployed again, but they realise they still have their loving families. and the ending music! oh god, it's epic. you'd expect so when it was written by ERIC CLAPTON!

I'm not entirely sure it counts, but Hitman Blood money had a really good sequence at the end.
It seems you are dead and the credits are coming up at your funeral above your body. However, if you keep pushing "A" (or it might have been wobbling the analogue stick) then you slowly wake up, and then it turns out there's a final level where you just massacre everyone at your own funeral.

(Shame the level itself kind of sucked, since it was COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE on the hardest difficulty.)

I liked Golden Sun: The Lost Age's end credits. You defeated the final boss, little bit of dialogue, plot twist, resolve plot twist, roll credits.

But then, inbetween the credits are a few short clips just to finish off the story. And then, at the end, there's a little extra bit which is pretty cool. It keeps you interested and also makes you watch the credits, which was pretty clever on the developer's part!

Honestly for me best Credits were from Devil May Cry series, not only they have good music you actually stay to watch them because the fight is still going on! The best way for people to not go to the toilet when the credits are rolling.

GTA4

As flawed as the game was, it does give me a fuzzy feeling seeing those shots of Liberty City again.

Crash Team Racing had great credits.

Not only did it have the credits themselves but epilogues that said what happened to the characters after the game with a corresponding animation of the character when they win a tournament. Also if you 101% complete the game there is confetti added in for special effect and the music is so damn catchy.

Another excellent one I liked was the castle crashers credits Because it showed the aftermath of all you did. The only thing I didn't like was
the last princess you rescued turned out to be a clown.

GODHAND.

Hilarious music set to aload of hilarious dance routines by all the characters. Brilliant.

I really enjoyed the ending sequence to Portal 1 and 2 but I really loved the ending credits to Portal 2 (co-op campaign) its different and funny for those who haven't seen it.

Yep:

'No cows were harmed in the making of this game.'

Filmwise... not sure. Battle of Britain's end 'credit' sequence was a quote and a depressing list of stats. Great music though.

I really liked the song at the end of Reservoir Dogs...it was just random and out of place with the ending:
