I recently started playing Fallout 3 and I'm loving it. Anyways, I plan to buy some DLC but I looked online and there were 4 DLC packs I can get. So my question is which DLC is the best one to buy? I have 800 points, aka one DLC. I plan to buy all 4. but currently I want just one. Your opinions are appreciated.

Broken Steel without a doubt, I don't know how I would live without my tesla cannon.

Don't have any, but I'd imagine Broken Steel, for the level cap to put it simply.

Start with Broken Steel. It adds on to the main quest, gives you the ability to level up to Level 30, gives you a bunch of new perks to choose from, newer and harder enemies to fight, and a lot of new equipment. It also allows you to keep playing after you finish the main quest.

So, if I were, the order I would get them in would be:

Broken Steel
The Pitt
Point Lookout
Operation Anchorage

Keep in mind that Mothership Zeta comes out on August 3rd as well.

I'd possibly switch the pitt and point lookout, but thats just me :)

As everyone else has said: you want Broken Steel first

You need Broken Steel for a proper ending but Point Lookout is cooler and has a bit more content.

The other two are pretty forgettable.

Broken Steel is vital, as it greatly increases the lifespan of Fallout 3, so that takes first.
Point Lookout at close second.

Off topic is PL worth getting?
Yes, unless you dislike the bugged perks, which make ALL of your firearms do 10+ damage. That includes the BB gun and the Mesmatron.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to recommend Broken Steel, for the new level cap, mostly.

I liked the start of Operation Anchorage.
The Pitt was abit short.

Havn't played the actual quests of Broken Steel yet, are they anygood? or is it just the level cap and perks?

Whats a good level for Point Lookout? I was going to go at about 9 but the dude made me decide against it with talk of epic beasties.

Well, the hillbillies do 35 damage extra with each attack, and that extra 35 isn't reduced by DR. So, high level. And a lot of sneaking. So you can watch the dancing...

I liked operation anchorage for the invisibility suit (when crouched). From Pitt's the "man-opener" although crap to wield is a funky weapon, I got a really good silenced rifle from their too. Broken Steel was fun and haven't got Point Lookout yet.

I agree with everyone else here.

Broken Steel.

It's got the best moment and it fixes the games ending for you! It's win win.

Also the Heavy Incinerator makes me Nerdgasm.

Broken Steel, for the reason that Fallout 3 has a horrible ending in which you cannot play on after it. Broken Steel lets you continue playing after the main story and also raises your level cap.
