So many great suggestions here. Samus is way up there. But simply because I found it the funnest game with a female protaganist in memory, the new Tomb Raider tops my list.

Holy Crap, I didn't think anyone left on this forum knew about the Trails in the Sky games. Estelle is all around my favorite character in any game I have played. She's just so lovable and it was great seeing her journey from beginning Bracer to her becoming more aware of the world. That moment in the second game on the Glorious was great. Her moments where she has an heart to heart with various characters have gotten me emotional, especially her little heart to heart at the end of the 3rd game. Too bad these games don't get much recognition.

Also, Olivier is God Tier Waifu.
