Best fighter sim?

Im thinking something sort of like ace combat or hawx or jasf? I played ace combat 4 but assault horizon doesnt have that anime esque cutscenes like 4 did so it doesnt appeal to me.

anywho any suggestions appreciated.

It's a very solid WWII flight sim game. Free to play, and with Gaijin removing all the pay to win stuff from their system, it might just hold your attention for quite a while.

sounds like if I actually wanted to learn how to fly this would be the way to go!

Not too sure of modern flight sims, but for WW2 you should definitely look into IL-2: Sturmovik.
