Best flash engine

Ok so I'm going to be doing flashes and stuff, much like what you would find on newgrounds. Reason being I just want to and wanted to. And I hope to do things like flash movies, and games. Its just I need help for which to download to do so. I go online to check, but I can't really see what are the best ones to use. I understand that they cost money , but I can try the trial to see what it is like. So if anyone has any suggestions, or if anyone, knows of a better place to ask, any help would be appreciated.

Why are you looking further than Flash?

Also I doubt you're going to find a Flash engine, just make the games from scratch.

yeah, but the problem is what do I need. What programs do I need in order to do so? I've always wanted to do this, and dammit I'm not going to give up now.

Just get Flash.

Flash is fairly expensive. If you want to get into it as soon as possible check out The Game Factory 2 Newgrounds Edition. It's great if you have no prior experience making games regardless of what software medium you want to use. Once you get your feet wet with that you can get the upgraded version of the program or get Flash itself. o yea its free

It's going to take a while before you make anything other people will want to see, you'll probably feel proud once you get some shapes moving about or something though.

http://www.w3schools.com/flash/default.asp here is a basic tutorial to get you used to using the timeline, all of that is very basic but should put you on your way. Once you know what you're doing move onto learning Actionscript, I'm not sure how good it would be for a first programming language but I don't think AS3 will be too bad.

I can't draw/animate with flash but I could make games and help with the programming side if you want to PM me any nooby questions I'll happily help out with what I can.
