Best font for a CV? Also: Fonts in general

How about a nice mix of Papyrus and Copperplate? Show your versatility!

Srsly, my usual go-to font is Georgia, even for print stuff. I like the higher mean line compared to Times, (which... screams MS Windows!).

My uni demanded calibri 10 but I used arial 11 instead.

But if you must, you may use Times New Roman.

Like most people, I generally go with Calibri. Especially good since it's the default font on MS Word these days (I think). I'm not sure than Times New Roman holds the same formal necessity that it used to.

I also like Georgia, it's not viewed as generic like Times New Roman and has a little more style IMO.

I don't understand why so many people dislike Times New Roman so much. Overuse perhaps?

Anyways, here's my suggestion: 9pt Constantia for body text, 12pt Arial Bold for headers. Make your name nice and big and your contact info about the same visual power as the headers. Don't forget that white space is your friend.
