I have noticed over the years that there hasnt been many moral games out, most of them are either just killing, or just some sort of entertainment.

I am honestly having a brain fart and Cant think of any Fun moral games...
What would you say is in that catagory and why?

I think I know what he's getting at, but by making the assumption that most or all moral games are boring, I don't really think anyone can help him.

Morrowind taught us that hating foreigners is wrong, does that count?

Would bioshock count as a moral game?

If so, then this

Bioshock, for showing us that [small]building an underwater civilization in a blatantly steam punk fashion, supplying it's inhabitants with genetically engineered superpowers for no apparent reason, scattering around giant diving suit monsters with drills for hands, and turning turning little girls into glowing-eyed freaks of nature who drink people's blood from a syringe, all in order to escape political persecution from the surface[/small] is wrong.

Makes me think of that family guy episode with Peter at the video store. "Earnest goes to the beach"...or "Earnest doesnt go to the beach"

You haven't played many japanese games have you?
Huh. The only game I've played so far with a choice like that punished with you with karmically appropriate death for the making the bad choice.

Play KOTOR, and run it light side. Seems pretty moral to me.

KOTOR 2 toys with gray areas more, and is good if you actually want to think about various ethical quandaries and other stuff like that, but if it's a straightforward good vs. evil thing you're after, you can't go wrong with KOTOR.

On the other hand, if you're attempting to define "moral" game as "religiously in line with your own views", I recommend getting Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War, because I think you might well sympathize with the Space Marines.

Baldurs Gate 2 was the game with the most intelligent moral choices that I have found, with great gameplay, voice acting and text to boot.

Generally, I'd reccommend Black Isle games, except for Lionheart. That thing is a giant waste of money. Otherwise, both Fallout games and PS:T really hit the spot for a bit of moral speculating.

Mass effect and fallout 3 for sure fallout 3 morals have a bigger role in game though but mass effect is also really good.

See, that's just not fair! One one hand, rape is wrong. On tre other hand, can you honestly resist at least trying the first option?

Well... You can learn morals from practically anything..

If you want moral games.. like.. Try those kindergarten games that are developed by the school systems.. or get some of those Wisdom Tree bible games..

There isn't anything really fun about games that are based around morals...

It's not wrong; just misunderstood.

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows isn't bad. At one point, you're given a choice between knocking a symbiote crazed Wolverine unconscious and simply tearing him in half, so I can't say it's one of those games that offers you a happy medium (you're pretty much a saint or a demon), but it's a heckuva lot of fun.

Stay loyal to Mary Jane or go jumping around on rooftops with Black Cat? Hmm...
