this might not count but there was this gem of a chase scene in LA Noire when your playing as Jack Kelso. You get put in the trunk of a car, jump out and run/hijack cars to get to your destination...

Well, the Zone of the Enders games had some great fights. Fighting against giant robots, but even better were the fights against the smaller quicker Orbital frames like Neith, or Anubis. In Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner there was a battle where you led a whole group of about 20 units against a huge army and even one where you fought a fleet of battleships single handed. Near the end, you fought Anubis while badly damaged and traveling to a moon or Mars via compressed space.

I'll always remember the opening cinematic from Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. A large scale fight scene involving the roster of the entire series in a Good vs Evil all out brawl.

Then it turns into a massive free for all as everyone fights to get to the top of the Pyramid of Argus, as the person who does will attain the power of a God. It's freakin' awesome every time.

Metal Gear series has great scenes, especially 4 involving Raiden and Vamp.

That scene pissed me off. Mainly because I couldn't watch the fight as I was being torn a new one by suicidal, mooing, robots. My favourite fight scene in that was Johnny and Meryl vs. a shit-tonne of Haven troops.

Zhao Yun swung off a waterfall and drop kicked a horse, killing the horse, the rider, and 20 people behind them.

Actually he doesn't kill the rider, the rider is Xu Huang, it would be kinda weird to kill one of the characters in the opening movie.

I like American games better. No exaggerated super-Japanese killing 40,000 enemy soldiers with a single swing of his Voltron-like pinky.

What do you mean? They aren't exaggerated, haven't you ever heard of The Battle of Xianshi zhuyi shi wuliao Bridge, where Ling Tong and Gan Ning defeated thousands of Wei soldiers by fusing together to create a giant, fiery orb of doom?
