u do know it the N64 's best game NOT the ps1's but the N64'snecromango said:The original Metal Gear Solid for PS1, that game oozed style and awesomeness. Still one of my all time favourite games.
Oh come on- you're not even trying to win here! tell me why MK64 was better! Here- I'll kick it off- I liked DKR heaps better because the carts actually handled like go-karts should, unlike the curling stones everyone rides in in MK64...Fraser.J.A said:Ooh, I'll have to glove-slap you on that one. I never enjoyed Diddy Kong Racing, neither solo nor multiplayer. It just didn't have the solidity and visceral satisfaction of MK64 (for me).Squilookle said:And just to stir up some arguments, I'll go as far to say that Diddy Kong Racing absolutely CREAMED Mario Kart 64. Mostly -again- because of bots, in battle mode.
Still is. Just pulled out the old beast last weekend and gave it a run. Still as fun as ever!Mr.Tea said:![]()
This.
Rarely ever had as much fun with a video game as I did with this one. 4 player splitscreen was 'teh shit' .
yeah, i'll have to agree ocarina of time was the best thing i've ever played on the n64DarkRyter said:I'm gonna have to say Ocarina of Time.
It's just really good. REALLY GOOD.
Well I wouldn't say it was 100 times better, but I thoughorly enjoyed them both. OoT was revolutionary, I remember playing it as a kid and being amazed. Then MM followed up amazingly well without making the same game again - the time manipulation being the key here.MisterAnarchist said:Incoming s***storm but I thought that Majora's Mask was 100 times better than Ocarina of Time
Oh hell yes, you thought the game was over, and then, BAM! New suits, new levels, new shit, plot twist! I never managed to beat Mizar though, and my N64 broke a few days ago, eliminating my last chance.TheLoveRat said:You fools are all forgetting the greatest game ever made, EVER. JET FORCE GEMINI!!!. There is nothing subjective about this thread, there is only the single greatest piece of Video Game Programming and Designing ever seen by man.
