best game of the N64 generation?

The original Metal Gear Solid for PS1, that game oozed style and awesomeness. Still one of my all time favourite games.

Definitely Ocarina of Time.

Oh come on- you're not even trying to win here! tell me why MK64 was better! Here- I'll kick it off- I liked DKR heaps better because the carts actually handled like go-karts should, unlike the curling stones everyone rides in in MK64...Fraser.J.A said:

Smash bro's was awesome, because I was one of the few lucky kids to have it in the UK. Pokemon Stadium, mini games were hilarious fun. Lessee what else... Wasn't old enough for Conker...*sad*, Golden Eye, my friend used to make me play it, I sucked.

Rarely ever had as much fun with a video game as I did with this one. 4 player splitscreen was 'teh shit' .
I enjoyed Harvest Moon 64 the most, even if the days were too short!
I loved playing Ocarina of Time, Majora's mask was good. Perfect dark was buckets of fun!
My brother played Jet force Gemini a lot, beat it twice I think, I got about half way and got stuck haha!
One more game that was good that I'm now playing on my N64 Emulator is Conker's bad fur day... very fun, don't play the xbox version cause it's clean, and the N64 one says all the bad words! haha!

You fools are all forgetting the greatest game ever made, EVER. JET FORCE GEMINI!!!. There is nothing subjective about this thread, there is only the single greatest piece of Video Game Programming and Designing ever seen by man.
Well I wouldn't say it was 100 times better, but I thoughorly enjoyed them both. OoT was revolutionary, I remember playing it as a kid and being amazed. Then MM followed up amazingly well without making the same game again - the time manipulation being the key here.MisterAnarchist said:
