It's an awful game, but Sonic 3D has a great original soundtrack behind it (the Mega-Drive version, never heard the Saturn version), particularly the second boss music. Though most the Mega-Drive Sonic stuff was gold to listen to.

As for best soundtrack, either Burnout 3 (yes, there's some crap emo in it, but there's some gems buried amongst the crap), or Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. Certainly Pro Skater 2 pretty much proved a starter point for my musical tastes.

Thanks to this thread I have now got the Fallout 3 OST... worst idea ever because now I want to be evil whenever I walk down the street and a song is on from it (as my character is evil most of the time.) But my favourite game song would be One Winged Angel-FFVII but favourite OST is FFX just because it helps me sleep (Otherworld excluded though)
