Best game soundtrack?

I absolutely love the music from all three Halo games, as well as every game in The Orange Box. And the extensive music library in Brawl also deserves recognition.
How come no one has mentioned FF6, man best Final Fantasy music ever. Chrono Trigger was awesome too. Halo had a nice soundtrack, it's one of the few things I liked about the game. Oh and of coarse who could forget megaman games. Whoever it was that mentioned storm eagle, THANK YOU, I'm not the only one who finds that song addicting lol.
half life 2, and portal. john mcoulton is amazing. I love the music in half life 2 so much I would reload a part of the game just to listen to it again.
I notice alot of people commenting on Half-life's music, i absolutley adore the Half-life series but i don't think that the music in it deserves so much credit, it was hardly memorable for me... I guess i look for different things in soundtracks though.

I second Megaman 2 and Final Fantasy VII. Also Final Fantasy Tactics. Umm Phantom Brave. . .Sonic Adventure Battle 2. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Super Mario Sunshine. Lols, Yoshi Story, 
. Any Harvest Moon game. Call of Duty. I've just been listing off a bunch of soundtracks I like so I guess I'll pick my favorite. My favorite soundtrack, well, soundtracks, would have to be those of Beautiful Katamari and Katamari Damacy. I'm sure I have games that I have completely forgot about that have soundtracks that rival Katamari but if so I can not think of them at this moment. Oh yea Animal Crossing is pretty good. It's not like oh this stuff is so incredibly awesome but whenever I hear it I have a good chuckle.

The World Ends With You has possibly the best soundtrack I've heard in a while. You feel the pulse of Shibuya in it.

FFVII / dirge of cerberus - very iconic, and .. nicely moody. In a good way. I use these two soundtracks to study to, although Dirge's gets pretty goddamn depressing.

Mass Effect. Definitely. Its so synth-based that it really adds to the futuristic atmosphere and in-its-own inspires me.
The Legend Of Zelda : OOT OST was also amazing, as was the Jet Force Gemini OST :3
