My last thread was about the best strange design choices in games, this one is asking about people's favourite weapons in games.
This could be for how it is used, how it looks or even just for how it hurts things.
For me, it has to be the Head Mole Launcher, thing, from the N64 Turok games, just the whole weapon was just sooooo much fun. The sort of fun that, if it were directed at humans and not strange dinosaur, things, would have the Daily Mirror here in the UK and other similar publications (as well as all those people who sign they're letters as 'A Concerned Citizen' and what have you) around the world up in arms. I mean, come on, it's just not the kind of thing they see the point of. It sorta locks-on, you shoot, it homes in on the victims SKULL and then proceeds to drill through into their brain (with copious amounts of blood fountaining into the air) and go's ka-BOOM, just for good measure.
But thats just my nomination, this is about YOUR suggestions, and so on and so forth.
So, come in, nominate it, explain why, and share your views, they're just as valid if you nominate a pistol from a REALLY obscure game, or something like the Plasma Sword from the Halo series.
