I'd say it'd definitely be a three way tie between Empire Earth [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0_VyVkeltQ], Red Alert 2 [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7jSig5_N3o], and Unreal Tournament [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RplWKq9rWeM].
Coincidentally, all of these games kick ass.

There are so many, I love Fallout 3's use of licencsed music, the Halo trilogy has some of the most beautiful, epic music I've ever heard and I'm a big fan of the music in Gears of war 2.
There are others but I won't list them all out.

I just recently listened to the Chrono Cross soundtrack and it's really nice. And the FFVIII soundtrack.

I'm pretty sure i might get flamed to death on these choices but I really enjoyed:

Team Fortress 2

Metal Gear Solid 4

Halo 3

I don't play allot of RPG these days so forgive me if I offend you.

I absolutely loved the soundtrack for GTA Vice City. It was a nigh on perfect encapsulation of all the cheesy wonderfulness of the 80's!
Billie Jean playing as you cruise down the boulevard at sunset ignoring the muffled screams of hapless pedestrians, ahh bliss...

best unorigional soundtrack is saints row 2
the best origional ones are SMT: nocturne, SMT: persona 4, the world ends with you, brawl, and devil may cry 4 (even though it plays the same song over and over)

I would say Little Big Planet...

Mostly because it's the only videogame with music that I enjoy listening to as "music" rather than as "inspiration" (music I use to generate mood while I write or think about writing).

The Go! Team, Battles, Cafe Tacuba... seriously awesome stuff.

Rather than go with a title everyone knows about I'll say System Shock 2. Music was creepy, exciting, and really pulled you into the cyberpunk atmosphere of the game.

Eh, Halo music gets kind of repetative after a while, especially when you don't have the game action to help you ignore it during the lulls.

As far as Portal goes, the ending song is great, but the music is otherwise nothing to talk about.

Enough criticizing, now to let you ridicule me. I have been a fan of several Kirby and Metroid soundtracks, as well as a lot of Megaman songs.

Also, while the music is not the best, I like how most of the tracks in SSBB were remixed enough to be fresh while still reminding you of the originals.

dont worry dude, i am sure no one really minds tbh. You do get the occasional person however who will get in a rage if a topic has been done already so just be weary :p
