Whatever youd call Sleep Terror and Crytopsy. Death metal + jazz = sheer awesomeness.

Either Weather Report's Birdland (Jazz+art rock+latin+funk+r&b+god only knows what else) or Charles Daniels Band's Devil Went Down to Georgia (Country+rock).

Nothing beats Freddie Mercury crossing rock and opera with Barcelona. Honestly, he defined the crossover genre, plus he was the greatest singer ever. No-one can beat him. However, I also happen to love the Coldplay/Jay-Z collaboration on their recent song Lost+ from the Prospekt's March EP.

Country Feedback by REM. A stunningly beautiful song, and an awesome combination of alternative rock and (you guessed it) country.

I think I'll go and listen to that now.

Sabotage by the Beastie Boys. A mix of rap/rock, and the music video is awesome.

I like A Day to Remember doing a cross of pop/rock/screamo or whatever you wanna classify that as, but just listen to the song since u been gone (yes, the kelly clarkston cover) and you'll see what I mean.

Make a list of Mars Volta songs, then throw a dart at said list.

Any of those songs will be fine. :)

EDIT - I don't think that "rock - country" or "blues - country" counts as a genre-cross, since they are so inherently similar.

I also remembered this track, which melds together old and new pretty much seamlessly... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VA6_lwJr1Hg

One of the original crossover hits...

Queen - Another One Bites the Dust,

Tis Disco Rock!

And in that tradition... pretty much anything by Electric Six.

Creedence Clearwater Revival had some great Rock-Swamp Blues crossover songs.
Of the more recent stuff, I kinda enjoy Electric Six. Very funny lyrics and the music is somewhere between rock, electro and dance, dunno what exactly but it's nice to listen to.
