Best App is a tie for me between Mocha VNC and Files Connect.
Mocha is a full VNC client that allows me to remote control any computer I want. (wireless touch screens cost $1500 retail, tablets with VNC are half that, WTF)
Files Connect allows me to make ftp, sftp, afp, smb, ssh, webdav, MobileMe, DropBox, and Google Docs connections. It can also turn your iOS device into a FTP server to wireless transfer files to and from. It's main selling point is you can access all your data remotely without use of 'cloud' storage (why I built my storage server in the first place).
With VPN capabilities built into the iOS I can securely connect to my home server, computers, and office computers/servers from anywhere on the planet.
BOOSH!
My Favorite Game Right now is Final Fantasy (the original). For no other reason than it's the best FF game, and Chrono Trigger hasn't been ported yet.
I go through a strategy or logic game every couple of weeks, Sudoku mostly. I find the touch interface only hinders most of the games I play, and I refuse to ever download a game ported from flash (I'm looking at you Angry Birds, I don't give a shit how many people "love" you). I mainly use my iPad for work, and looking stuff up on the fly. I'm waiting for a good Pokemon equivalent or shooter that doesn't force my hand to cover what I'm trying to kill.
