I always make a point of listening to this if it starts to play on the main menu. Beautiful piece.

That would be my first choice. Not the biggest fan of the franchise, but the music has always been outstanding.

Ever time i hear it i wanna pop in Metroid Prime:Trilogy and start over for the fun of it.
I completely agree it just set the mood from the get go.
When i first played it on the GC i was kinda eh about it but once i started the game and got to the menu i knew i was in for one hell of an experience.
And the mix of it played during the credits is awesome.
All 3 of the Prime games had excellent music in general.

Yes, I believe you are right. Although Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2 also have something to say on that subject.



Seriously. Battlefield games OWNS everything in terms of music.

I looked through this thread unsure of my opinion looking to see if I had been nija'd. This made up my mind.

The battlefield theme definitely wins the title music contest.

Not really sure why I like this one so much.

To be honest, I prefer the music before you enter the main menu, the music at the press start screen.

But I love the one from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes all the more.

Both Morrowind and Civ4 menu music are great themes. Once started, I almost never pause them mid-way, got to let them play out.
