Best movie ever

My personal pick is Idiocracy by Mike Judge. It is hillarious, scary and makes you think.

Passion of the Christ. I'm not religious, but for people to remake Hostel and have it be endorsed by a religion is just super.

Don't have a favorite, but my 3 favorite right now are probably (in no particular order):
Walk Hard
V for Vendetta
Garden State

I know what you are thinking V for Vendetta, blasphemy, the film didn't hold a candle to the book but, funnily seeing the film made me buy the book, which is admittedly better, but I can see why things were changed to fit it into 1 film, and not confuse the crap out of everyone.

Lord of the Rings. I count it as one freakin' long movie, and it's my favourite.

After that would probably be Kingdom of Heaven, V for Vendetta, Children of Dune (mini-series), Syriana, and High Fidelity.

i didn't think it was that good. a few funny bits and the last 15 minutes or so was good but other than that it was a bit boring. my favorite film is, and will probably always will be, the lion king.

Anything by Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli especially Spirited Away (the first Studio Ghibli movie I ever saw)
