Not sure if it's been mentioned, but here's a good one that many of us likely know:

Or maybe I'll be in the mood for some OK GO.

If all else fails, I'll need a good laugh, so comedy would go great. I've been on a Birbiglia kick lately, so it'll likely be him.

I'm gonna say this one, and hope people know why.
Thank goodness for that! After post after post of deviated preverts with their wrong music someone finally gets it right. Don't worry, those other posters are going to have to answer to the Coca Cola Company.

THE LACK OF ACTUAL END-OF-THE-WORLD MUSIC IN THIS THREAD DISTURBS ME.

This WILL be the choice, if there's any justice in the world.

Seriously, add a fire crackling to it and the population slowly looking up and staring at the sky. It's too perfect.

For a mute collapse of the world its "I dont want to set the world on fire",
For a Black hole it is an epic orchastra song from star wars,
For the destruction of reality its the Higurashi Opening theme,
For an apcolypse brought upon by God Id say something on the Organ,
And if its all mankinds fault then its The Spongebob Squarepants theme with a nuke going off in the background.

Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny.
That is all.

Given that this is meant to be describing the end of the world anyway...

Preferably the whole of the 'Libera Me' from the same Requiem - yes, it has the famous 'Dies Irae' excerpt, but also a truly moving solo from the Soprano, pleading for one's soul.

Here is the conclusion:
