I'm torn three ways. Nightcrawler, Bishop, and Gambit were always my three favorites. If pressed, I'd have to go with Nightcrawler. Teleportation, near invisibility in deep shadows, I don't think it gets much better than that.

I currently play Classic Marvel Superheroes RPG, I like making my own characters but if I were to use a premade character I'd use someone like Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet Or to be completely unfair the Beyonder.

Which mutant power would I have? I'd go for the power Nemesis, in short, it's a power that uses the weakness of another power.

Well, with obviously Greek etymology, it'd hardly be a 'magic spell', since they're usually either obscure terms, blatantly obvious terms or anachronisms. But that's just a point of pedantry.

I know I'll be branded a heretic for this, but X-3 (the... uh... movie *cringe*), Magneto is talking with the Phoenix, and he laments the fact that what he can do only with metal, she can do with everything.

The telekinesis/telepathy combo present in Jean Grey, Psylocke, Nate Grey, Nathan Summers, Rachel Grey, Mantis, Moondragon, etc. It's pretty nifty.

Damn, ninja'd, but shit Psylocke has the additional power of looking damned good in that outfit!

On a more serious note: Namor is a mutant right? So I'll take what he's having.

Kind of dig Gambits power of Energy creation. With enough focus it could be used to destroy the planet. However, that would have been up till recently. Since the Disney buyout of Marvel, Marvel is now dead to me. So my answer would be none. Damned Nazi supportin, Childhood destroying, Preteen oversexualizin, Purveyors of an unrealistic world view. Have to step in and screw up everything for everybody.

You do realize that the exact same structure of editors, writers, and artists are in place over at Marvel, right? The only difference is the name on the paychecks, and the fact that now Disney movies don't have to compete at the box office with Marvel movies.

Going back to the posts' topic, I'd have to say the 'best' mutant power would depend on perspective and need. Thus, Copycat, whose power was basically Mystique on steroids and could mimic the powers of anyone she was aware of and solve whatever problem she was faced with.
