You see my and my sister used to love driving verrrry slowly around Burnout 3, sticking to the lanes and shouting at all the computer players cutting us up.

My question is; is there a newer game better for this, it must have split screen and if possible be free roaming definatly with other traffic

Please suggest away....

You mean a game that resembles actual driving, and not a racing title?

I don't think such a game even exists.

You can drive realistically in most sandbox games, it's especially fun in GTA4. I don't think there's such a game with splitscreen though.

The Midtown Maddness series? I like them. I lent my copy of Midtown Maddnes to a friend (a dumb stupid blonde by the way) for a couple of months and I asked her how she was going with the races to unlock other cars and she said, "I don't do the races. I just drive around the city following the rules". I'm not her friend anymore. Don't worry, I got it back.

I do that in GTA IV. Only then I realise that everybody in Liberty City is retarded when in a car.

Roll one back though, GTA: San Andreas had a multiplayer, I never used it, so I don't know the extent of said multilayer either.
Don't know if you could both drive at the same time though, I don't see why not.

I don't think there has been a GTA with splitscreen gameplay, I could be wrong about GTA:SA though. You could go online, but that might be a bit of hassle to set up if you want to be in the same room and everything.
