Best of Cosplay At PAX East 2014 - Day 1

6 is definitely from Warhammer, probably the fantasy version. The icons hanging from the staff gave it away to me. Sadly I'm not too familiar with the fantasy version but he looks to be some kind of sorcerer serving the dark gods (except Khorne because Khorne does not approve of magic, his icon was absent from the staff).

Its a Slaaneshi sorcerer. I know that sign anywhere.

Nah, Chaos undivided I reckon - there's a mark of Nurgle hanging to the right of the Slaneesh (just in line with the dudes head), and a mark of Tzeench to the left (go straight down from the South-West point of the 8-pointed star).

The lack of a mark of Khorne does back up the sorcerer/magic wielder theory.

Nobody going to mention that... Chaos(?) Space Marine in the first picture? I'm not the biggest fan of 40K but holy hell that armour looks legit as fuck.

I Have no idea what side he is on

He has a normal aquila pattern and a purity seal, but is holding a chain axe.- so it's a bit of a mixed bag.


And yes, it looks very nice. Im more impressed that it looks that good and he can still move around normally. Most of the good looking SM cos-plays too bulky to sit down.

The chick in the corset and blue skirt? Number nine? There's a reason that's Disney-esque - it's Ariel from the Little Mermaid, when she got her legs? Yeah.

I know that Lux cosplayer, its good to see her get some credit.

Tell'r that some random creep guy on the internet gives he a props for the great cosplay and that she's actually cuter than the ingame Lux.

All that said we have at least narrowed it down to Warhammer serving the chaos gods, anything more than that can't really be determined from the picture.

Pic six is a Chaos Undivided Sorceror, not a specific character but he's showing fealty to the eightfold path and to three of the gods, the fourth being heavily anti-sorceror.

Will this website ever have a better picture viewer, it's kind of annoying scrolling up and down cause the photos don't fit, and having to go through a new page for every one.

I've never seen a cultist with a stick and he's wearing a book on his hip, I'd go with sorceror or particularly dapper cult leader.

funny enough both answers are right, he is a member of the chaos cult that is not a Space marries(so a cultust), and is a psyker so he is a sorcerer.

If not for the symbols dangling off his staff, I'd say number six is clearly the sorcerer Sargothrax. Have undead unicorns been spotted in the vicinity?

Liked the Spess Mahreen, great costume, but the Doc Martens kinda let it down. I mean, at least spray paint them red or something.

Next year I expect to see waaaaaay more Titans. But those are gonna be some long ass costumes to build.
