Best overall FPS soundtrack

Personally, I believe that a badass soundtrack is key to a great FPS game. Quake II had just that, and I still listen to the tracks while playing games like Resistance 2 and Doom 3. It adds a really pumped up, heavy metal feel to the game that keeps me goin.

I liked the Halo intro music.

Half Life 2 also had good music for battles because it was subtle but made everything feel faster paced.

Halo 1. Just as you begin the great backtrack. That electric guitar deal really got me in the mood to blow stuff up.

Halo as a series has always had a very strong soundtrack. Also, Unreal Tournament 2: The Liandri Conflict has some cool tunes.

This, really missed the radio in battlefield 2 and 2142.

Bioshock, the hits of the 1950s interwoven with an art-deco city which is filled with mentally unstable genetically modified citizens. Little touches like "how much is that doggy in the window playing" when you visit the Little Sister orphanage just make it the perfect music

Indeed, Unatco Hq is the most memorable place, not because of the fun you can have with the glass doors . But because of the music.
