I recently got a Switch, and I'm planning on getting a MicroSD for it. Since I'm a paranoid little git, I'd rather get it at a Brick and Mortar store. That said, anyone know the best place to find a 128GB MicroSDXC card?

Should be pretty easy to find.

I'd vote Amazon, but I'm lazy and Prime means I don't have to leave my apartment.....

I don't have a Switch myself yet, but I have family who do... last time I checked, GameSpot had a pretty sweet little comparison... let me check if I can find it.

Yeah, it's still online, but it dates back to March.

Results/Recommendations:

In short, here are the cards we recommend given their respective sizes.

64GB: SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSDXC UHS-I Card

128GB: Lexar 128GB 633x microSDXC UHS-1

200GB: SanDisk Ultra 200GB microSDXC UHS-I card

256GB: Samsung Evo Plus 256GB

Since you decided to go with a 128GB one, I'd start with that Lexar one. If you can't find it, see if you can get one with similar specs at around the same price, which was quoted as being $44.95 back in March.

One important takeaway is/was that you shouldn't pay extra for the UHS-3 cards, as the Switch won't be able to make use of the extra speed.

You mentioned paranoia - just to let you know: SD cards tend to just suddenly die, instead of going slower or wonky over time. If there is important stuff you want to have access to at all times, do get it installed on multiple cards so you're no-sweat ready when disaster strikes.
