When my sister and I got a PS2. It's still alive today, I'm pretty sure we got them the year they came out.. So good. Worth every damn cent.

Apart from that, probably when my girlfriend bought me a thin white gold chain for the ring she gave me, since it didn't fit. I think I cried. o.o Lame, I know. But I was so frustrated that I couldn't wear it, and having it as a necklace is just a lot easier than wearing it on my hands anyway (less likely to lose it).

A folding knife in the shape of a leaf from my father. It is still one of the most unique knives I own. That and weighted steel throwing stars. My dad gets me the best stuff.

I also got a Katana from my sister, I was so surprised that she went on a limb with this one.. [small] (Because after christmas that's ALL she could go on... HA!! j'k again, I would never wish any harm on my sis)[/small]

I was actually in middle school at the time that I got it... At the time I just thought it would be cool to own a sword, but as time moved on, it ended up being a gift that keeps on giving because it initially sparked my interest in learning more about ancient Japan and weaponry both Japanese and maybe not so Japanese.. Never thought sharp pointy objects could make some one look for educationalismnismsmsss...

A Space Marine and Ork army that I'm guessing valued around $1000 at least (and yes, most of them were painted/glued together).
And my parents said they got it for $20 at a yard sale.
I'm hoping they didn't atcually steal it.

The best present I ever got was when I got my first Special Edition yellow Pokemon gameboy. Badass in all regards and it finally allowed me the opportunity to play the game outside of the 20 minute period of time I would be allowed by playing it on a friend's gameboy. I still have that thing. I love it so..

Same here, came with Yellow, and got me hooked on Pokemon to boot.

But the best present, was Gold.
